Devo, the original nerd rockers, are to perform their milestone album “Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo”
in its entirety for the very first time for Don’t Look Back. Some of us know Devo for whip it, but they acually have a large canon of work; packed with a knack for intelligent lyrics and artsy rhythms (is that even a phrase?). The perfect tie has come for these guys; as the style out nowadays could possible be attributed to them. The album was produced by Brian Eno in 1978.

24 HR TICKET HOTLINE: 0871 220 0260 www.atpfestival.com, www.seetickets.com

All Tomorrow’s Parties are pleased to announce that DEVO have
confirmed they will perform the world premiere live performance of
their legendary 1977 Brian Eno produced album “Q. ARE WE NOT MEN, ARE
WE DEVO?” at the London Forum on Wednesday May 6th 2009.

This will be a one-off performance of the album, exclusive to the
London Kentish Town Forum, and the very first time the band will
perform the album in its entirety. This rare concert will be part of
the DON’T LOOK BACK album series. Tickets cost £30 and can be ordered
from the ticket hotline: 0871 220 0260, or booked online at
www.atpfestival.com or www.seetickets.com.

On May 8th, DEVO will perform a gala greatest hits concert at the
world famous ATP Festival – The Fans Strike Back edition at Butlins
Holiday Centre, Minehead.

The band’s shows at Minehead and London will be their only UK performances and are most likely to be the only time the re-united Lizard will ever perform in the UK.

The original line-up of David Yow, Duane Denison, David Wm. Sims and Mac McNeilly are taking part in this very limited reformation that begins with Minehead and London, and will end with a final appearance in Chicago in late November. These shows will be the Jesus Lizard’s first since disbanding in 1999 and the first in twelve years to feature the original storied quartet. As anyone who has experienced the Jesus Lizard live can attest, they are one of the most intense and visceral musical assemblies to ever stalk a stage. This fleeting reunion offers an incredible opportunity to either be blown away all over again or to immerse yourself in the sweaty power and driving mayhem for the very first time.
